King Single Size Fitted Sheets

The single and the king single get mixed up constantly, and the difference matters. A single mattress is 91cm x 190cm. A king single is 107cm x 203cm, so it’s 16cm wider and 13cm longer. Put a single fitted sheet on a king single and it either won’t stretch over at all or will ping off the first time someone rolls over. Our king single fitted sheets also get the full 50cm wall (the single gets 40cm), which leaves room for a topper or a thicker mattress.

King singles tend to live in kids’ rooms, teenagers’ rooms and guest rooms, which means they get washed a lot. Ours are 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton percale made with long-staple fibres, so they hold up to frequent washing. Each corner is labelled, which makes it a sheet a kid can actually put on themselves.

To finish the bed, add a king single flat sheet and a pair of standard pillowcases. For the doona, go for a double doona and a double quilt cover. On a king single, it drapes properly over the sides. Every size is in our bed linen size guide.
